We’re the Lindgren family—Fredrik (42), Lena (43), and our daughters Saga (11) and Tuva (8). We live in the charming UNESCO World Heritage town of Røros, Norway, where snow-covered streets and majestic mountains are part of our daily life. We've called Røros home for the past ten years, after spending eight unforgettable years on Svalbard working as guides and in tourism. When Saga was born, we realized that living “on top of the world” so far from family wasn’t where our future was meant to be.
In 2015, we made the move to Røros, and by 2022, we began building our dream home just a few minutes from the heart of town. We feel incredibly privileged to live where the mountains and open landscapes are quite literally our closest neighbors.
The outdoors has always been our greatest passion. For the past 17 years, Alaskan Huskies have been a beloved part of our journey. What started with just two dogs has grown into a lifelong bond with up to 80 huskies at one point. Today, our 16 dogs are part of the family, and Fredrik continues to compete in long-distance races across Norway and Sweden. But our most treasured moments are those spent camping as a family—watching Saga and Tuva drive their own dog teams through snowy trails. Seeing our children navigate the wilderness with confidence and love for animals—that’s our true definition of happiness.
We’re honored to use Polyver boots—gear that lives up to the demands of our lifestyle. Whether we’re out on the sled for hours or just embracing the everyday adventures of life in the north, we rely on the warmth, comfort, and durability of boots like the Lia Low, Premium Low, Classic Sport Mid, and Classic Sport Low. They’re not just boots to us—they’re trusted companions in everything we do.
